Casting Clinic #8 – Strategic Empowerment of Training
The 8th edition of the Casting Clinic conferences will be held on February 8th, Wednesday, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at CITNM facilities. As guest speaker we have Prof. Dr. Camilo Valverde, Human Resource Management Master’s Director at Catholic Business School, and it will be dedicated to the theme "Strategic Empowerment of Training | The Management of Training and Development Processes and the Sustainability of Business Efficiency ".
Many companies see the obligation of training their employees only as an additional cost, which could be waived for they do not recognize it as beneficial for the company, and because it obliges the employee to leave his or her job during the training period. Pure mistake!
Professional training in companies should be seen as an investment made by their employees and themselves, beyond legislative compliance of the labor code. Just as it should be considered by the employees as a means of personal and professional valorization, rather than just an obligation.
Casting Clinic Conference # 8 will demonstrate the benefits of a strong training strategy and prepare businesses to maximize the benefits of this legal obligation.
Regarding such, CITNM invited Prof. Doctor Camilo Valverde, owner of a vast academic curriculum, from which we highlight the Doctorate in Psychology and the Master's Degree in Work and Business Psychology by University of Porto. He is part of the Lusophone Division of the biannual electronic scientific journal LABOREAL, published by FPCE-UP, in the areas of Occupational and Ergonomics Psychology and is also a consultant in the areas of human resources management and organizational behaviour.
It should also be emphasized that the speaker leads research in areas which are fundamental to the everyday life of any organization, in particular in management of occupational safety and health prevention, conception, implementation and regulation of training and development programs and Negotiation and conflict management.
