The first edition of CITNM SUMMER SCHOOL had two phases, a first one dedicated to the 8th and 9th grade students and a second one to the 10th and 11th grade students.
The program developed for the first phase was intended to inform students about some of the professions they may choose in the future. For the second phase, the main purpose was to sensitize students to the areas of engineering related to the automotive industry. Both had visits to educational institutions and companies from the foundry and automobile areas, as well as to CINFU Professional Training Centre for the Portuguese Foundry Industry) facilities.
The feedback was very positive, with the students participating actively and constructively, allowing to conclude that the programs were both fun and useful.
